I had the pleasure of talking with Doug Dodd this weekend. A longtime friend and fellow burner, Doug (and his wife, Florence LeMerle Dodd), have been influential participants and leaders in the Florida and Colorado burner communities for over two decades. They deserve a lot of credit for many of the close ties between these two tribes. The recording of our conversation came out well, but I have had so many interesting conversations with Doug and seen his involvement in so many projects that I can’t help noticing how impossible it is to sum up a person or a life in just one hour.
